  1. Accounts

21.1 A CAX account is required to use the CAX Services. Access may be by invitation.
21.2 You are responsible for keeping your API key and credentials confidential and for all usage under your account.
21.3 Notify us immediately at support@canadadotid.com if you suspect unauthorized use. We may revoke and reissue compromised keys.

  1. Prepaid Credits

22.1 CAX API usage is paid for with prepaid credits (“Credits”). One US dollar paid buys one US dollar of Credits, excluding any applicable taxes.
22.2 Each payment can be from USD 5 to USD 500, in multiples of USD 5.
22.3 Credits are added to the CAX account that matches the email address provided at payment, normally within one business day. If the email does not match an account, contact us with your receipt and we will apply the Credits to the correct account.
22.4 Credits are deducted per request at the usage rates displayed in your CAX API console at the time of the request.
22.5 When your balance reaches zero, requests stop. There are no overage charges and no automatic billing or renewal.

  1. Validity and Refunds of Credits

23.1 Credits remain valid for 12 months from the date of purchase. Unused Credits expire after that period.
23.2 You may request a refund of unused Credits within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@canadadotid.com. Refunds are made to the original payment method.
23.3 Credits that have been used, and Credits purchased more than 14 days earlier, are not refundable, except where required by law.
23.4 Credits have no cash value, are not transferable between accounts, and may not be resold.
23.5 If we terminate the CAX Services for reasons other than your breach of these Terms, we will refund your unused Credits.

  1. Usage Rate Changes

We may change usage rates with at least 14 days’ notice, published in the CAX API console or on our website. Changes apply only to usage after the effective date.

  1. Your Code and Outputs

25.1 As between you and us, you own your source code, data, and repositories, and the code and other outputs that the CAX Services generate for you (“Outputs”).
25.2 The Company retains ownership of the CAX software, rules packs, Odoo knowledge models, and all improvements to them.
25.3 You grant us a limited license to process your code and data only to provide the CAX Services.

  1. Third-Party AI Providers

26.1 To answer a request, the CAX Services send relevant context from your code and data to third-party AI model providers, currently including OpenAI, Anthropic, and DeepSeek. These providers may process data outside Canada, as described in our Privacy Policy.
26.2 You must not submit content that you are not authorized to share with such providers.
